OOTD: Eid fitr 2013 & Easy Henna Design

Long time no see!! I know it's kind of late, but I thought I'd do a quick Eid post. I've posted snippets of 2 outfits as well as a quick and simple henna design I did for all you novices out there new to henna. This design is easy peasy, give it a go!

OOTD: Grey Snake Print with a Pop of Colour - Keeping it Cool with Light Layers

Salaams all... It has been really humid lately so this is a great outfit for those hot summer days as the high-low blouse is lightweight and can be worn with a thin top underneath. You can also layer it with a short cardigan.

Awesome blouse with concealed pockets on either side.

Eid Outfit

Moroccan style kaftan. It was basically a long sleeveless jacket, worn with a long sleeve black top and jersey maxi skirt underneath. The belt around the waist was tied at the back.

OOTD: Pink Floral Spring look

A daytime or weekend look perfect for the spring weather now the sun has gone!

Scarf - £5 Whitechapel market, Pink across the body bag - Saturday market £5 , Bangles - £2 Prinark. Worn with homemade jersey abaya and a grey boyfriend cardigan.

Snippet of an outfit

Sneaky peek of outfit - Light pink, almost lilac hijab which has sequins purchased from a random mobile phone/scarf/bracelet store in Haringey North London. Worn with a grey waterfall cardigan and Nails Inc Nail Polish in New York (bright pink shade although looks a little coral in the pic!)

Grey works well with brights and pastels! A good safe option if you are used to black and dark colours.
